HitchPay Technologies Inc.
Payvio is a product of HitchPay Technologies Inc., 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801. HitchPay Technologies Inc. is a financial technology company, not a bank — it builds and operates the Payvio app, but does not itself hold a banking licence.
Custody of US dollar balances
Customer US dollar balances are held in pooled custodial accounts at HitchPay's partner bank, segregated from HitchPay's own operating funds, and are eligible for FDIC insurance up to $250,000 per depositor. HitchPay does not lend customer funds or pay interest on them.
Local-currency wallets and payouts
Local-currency wallets and cross-border payment services are provided by HitchPay Technologies Inc. and its licensed money-transmission and payment partners in each corridor Payvio serves. Non-USD balances are segregated from company funds but are not FDIC-insured, since FDIC insurance applies only to US dollar deposits at US institutions.
